Deux par Deux puts recycled PrimaLoft® in three weights inside this girls' TEKNIK one-piece: 100 g in the hood, which the brand rates to -30°C (-22°F), 170 g through the torso and 133 g in the arms and legs. Wet snow stays outside a 15,000 mm polyurethane coating, sweat escapes through fabric rated equally high for breathability, and the seams that take the most strain are sealed. For the slopes she gets a helmet-compatible hood, a sleeve pocket for a lift pass, adjustable ski-boot cuffs and ankle snow guards that close with snaps over rubberized elastic.

Since the hood and lower legs are black, nearly any toque from kids' winter accessories matches, and a fitted underlayer from girls' base layers helps on frigid chairlift rides.
